Keyboard Shortcuts
We offer the keyboard shortcuts below to help speed up your Photoshop experience. They are listed with the Win command on left and Mac command on right.
By committing these useful elements to memory just by using them, you will find yourself becoming faster and more confident with every image you work on. If you need to, print them out and display them in a handy place near where you work.
Open a new image (same as File/New)
Open an existing image from previous location viewed (same as File/Open)
Undo the last task performed (same as Edit/Undo)
Cuts any selected element and stores it in memory (remember it or loose it!)
Copies any selected element and stores in memory, leaves original
Pastes any copied or cut info in memory to new location
V= Move Tool
L= Lasso Tool
W= Magic Wand Tool
B= Brush Tool
T= Text Tool
Crt - or Com - =Zoom Out
Z= Zoom Tool
H= Hand Tool / Down Space Bar
Close existing image, may prompt for Save or Save As
Quit Photoshop (or any program)
